Beyond the "desk jockey" aspect Finance and Civil Affairs really don't deal in Military Personnel Issues that would be primarily the HR (soldier issues) and Manpower (force structure). As a Military Personnel Sergeant, I was always baffled by including the Band as part of the AG Corps, especially since that gave them a seat on our Senior NCO promotion boards. The reason being, many personnel actions have financial consequences. I really doubt that we have such a platform.
