On my company's site we have a huge resource page from job boards to LinkedIn groups.
It can be found here, feel free to check out everything else we have to offer as well. but for resources this is what we have compiled. We will soon rank and organize them for what and how they help but for the time being at least you don't have to navigate through google. just click and see if it is what you want.

I enrolled in school ans did workstudy at the VA. You could possibly work into a permanent job while doing workstudy. Be open to different opportunities that may be sifferent from what you did. USPS is a good place to start. Took about 6 weeks from application to my orientation next week.
