Know your vehicle ID, able to identify friendly and phone and any vehicles Buy even just saying the rear of the vehicle part of the corner part of the truth you'll know the specific things related and unique to animal friendly vehicles and remember the enemy has friendly looking vehicles but it may be enemy.

ABOLC is three phases- opords and basic tactical info, tank and Bradley platform training, and field scout and tank operations.
Make sure you have a good understanding of opords. Also, review chapters 3 and 4 in tank platoon (offense, defense) 3-20.21, and chapters 3 and 4 of scout platoon (recon, surveillance) 3-20.98.

Prepare to be called a dumbass tanker but other people but it is far from that it is actually very technical. I was at anchor until about 11 years ago and not too much I'm sure has changed except that they think they don't need tanks when Russia is arming like crazy with their new armata tank. I'm glad you're thinking of being armor officer because they will be needed again the USSR is back.
