Who or what organization has declared today Meatless Friday? A Bing search revealed nothing. Had I found evidence of some effort by PETA or ALF or ELF, I would have been going out for a bloody medium/rare 1/2 pound pub burger with sweet potato fries for lunch, and then done a nice 12 ounce New York Strip with grilled potatoes at home on the grill. Since I cannot find said evidence however, I shall continue my routine Lentin fast until 1700, at which time I will go to my favorite local tavern and gorge myself with copious amounts of beer-battered walleye (all-you-can-eat) and wash it down with Grain Belt Premium! Afterall, once the Holy season is over, so are the fish fries in this part of the state!

Ok so it's surprisingly delicious.
And I'm catholic and it's lent so yeah it's on purpose. I can't buy decent fish in my state so vegetables it is.
