I enjoy reading the posts and interacting with folks who "get it" when it comes to military and veteran issues. It's kind of like a fraternity / sorority, where we all have that military mindset and ethos in common.

I find humor in being blocked by idiots that cannot handle honest answers, common sense and dissenting opinions.

The discussions and connections with all ranks. Even though we all have our ranks listed and visible RP is a great place to discuss things while putting that rank aside. Anyone from E1s to O7s (O7s are the highest I've seen post somewhat regularly) discussing any and all topics. It's just been a great way of breaking the invisible rank barriers between Es and Os and even the different branches.

I like being able to see how the current generation of service members are living and working in today's Military,also appreciate the attention and respect given to us older vets when we post our days of old memories.

I like RP because I learn a lot. Although much of my family is or were military we never talk about it and the Army is VERY different today.

It reminds me of being in Garrison. A lot of different personalities, a little trouble now and again, and solving the world's problems. Just a bit of a reminder the greatest team on earth has a few issues. Then, back to the suck.

As a mom of a soldier, I joined Rally Point for the opportunity of discussion. There are many issues I can't comment on because they relate only to military life. However, I enjoy reading responses as it helps me understand more about military life and issues that my son may be affected by just those that are being posted.
