As mine is complete, I don't understand who people are hiding from here? Is it there own command? Why would you hide? I think, they should consider what the full purpose of this site is. This is a networking an information site... Embrace it! I think, no one should have profile without pictures (your actual face) and they should not hidden behind objects, blurred, but clear this is their picture.

Nothing either way. If you don't want to let us know where you're coming from, depending on what you say, I may ignore you or debate/agree with you. I accept that many are somewhat paranoid.

I just don't want anything traced back to me that I thought was innocent at the time and someone a year later takes out of context to charge me with something or support an incorrect opinion of me. At the same time this place is one of the only ones where I can get current military information and answers to important questions that I'm worried I can't ask my ROTC instructors about for fear of looking stupid or getting marks against me before I even commission. For example I just now posted a comment about how Donald Trump might not be the worst person ever and earlier I posted a discussion asking about the legality of something that was being asked of my ROTC unit. Either of those things could get me in hot water with people who could punish me for them either unconsciously or consciously. At the same time even earlier I posted a question asking for help deciding which military branch I wanted to join that was instrumental to helping me pick what my goals were. I was about to make a serious mistake and the answers to that question helped me make the right choice for the right reasons. All of the information in my profile is true (except that I should be pre-commission category instead of civilian but that was an error when I made my account rather than something to hide my identity). I intend to make a real account after I commission but we've gotten a lot of lectures about social media at my ROTC unit and had a few cadets kicked out for things that they posted on it. So that's what I personally stay anonymous.

I don't believe I'm gaining or losing anything. The only reason my profile is considered incomplete is because I haven't referred so many friends. Sorry, but I don't spam anyone. If any of my fellow service members want to be a part of this community, then they can join on their own.

Much like Cpl Goolsby, I won't spam my friends, so the profile will always be incomplete. In addition, since I'm editing the thing, I'd rather present a "clean" final edition of my profile. So, personally, I have nothing to hide apart from a slight tendency towards OCD.

I love this forum because it allows people to be themselves and express it in such a away that could broaden ones perspective whether you agree or disagree. This forum allow people to be who they are and make the chooses they make for whatever the reason might be. The decision that you make for you and your family is the right decision for you.

In response to the question I tell you this if I was looking for a candidate that had a particular skillset, for a great career opportunity and put in some keys words to find them and it is not in your profile they will not come up in my search. That may be okay for you if you have a good job and not interested So you may gain from that if that work for you I believe a person will miss out on the opportunity but we are each looking out of our own lenses.

I would have a more complete profile but I only can find half my records thanks to my former company commander Capt. Ed T Ciliberti even my discharge is know being guestioned.
