Especially aircraft like the Chinook and Black Hawk.<br /><br />Abrams - The Abrams came crashing through the door as the model for the next generation of tanks. It&#39;s a beast of a machine that I think still doesn&#39;t have a peer.<br /><br />Bradley - I was an operator on one in my 7th Cav days so I&#39;m a little partial. <br /><br />F-15 - It&#39;s still undefeated after almost 40 years of existence. I also love the LVS, aka Dragonwagon. It is just an all around versatile system.<br /><br />Aircraft, I have always loved how beautiful the P-51 Mustang is but I would have to choose the A-10 Warthog on this one. <br /><br />Watercraft, LCAC Hovercraft. Navy ships/boats. WWII Era Fletcher Class Destroyers and the Gato/Baleo Class Submarines. You have to give it to the WWII Submariners , they actually did what the Germans attempted and more and on a lot bigger ocean. Running at wave top in formation skip bombing with 500 lb HE bombs. They were not at all designed to be attack craft but they were extremely effective in this role! When I was in grade school, I remember seeing advertisements that were selling surplus PT boats. I wish they were still available. There is a video on YouTube where someone refurbished a British PT Boat to new status, and even included replica guns, depth charges, and torpedoes. Also love our Army watercraft inventory of LCU 2000s, and LSVs. Large Tugs are also pretty cool.<br /><br />As for aircraft, I love the F-15 Eagle, F-22 Lightning, A-10 Thunderbolt (aka, Warthog), C-17 Globemaster, and C-5 Galaxy. However, as a former CH-47 mechanic, the Chinook is my all-time favorite aircraft. Space Force will likely find a way to modify it to go to space one day : )<br /><br />Ground vehicles don&#39;t really excite me, as I&#39;ve PMCSed more HMMWVs and LMTVs than I care to remember. Although the MLRS and Paladin Self-Propelled 155mm Howitzers look like really neat systems.
