What are your thoughts about 'field uniforms'? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-are-your-thoughts-about-field-uniforms <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Have you ever been told to have a clean serviceable uniform before going to the field or range when you know your going to get completely muddy and dirty? I know it makes since to have a clean uniform with no huge holes, but should it be fair to wear a uniform with tiny holes and dirt/mud stains that didn't come out (to a certain point) before going?<div> The same thing with the gear. Should it be perfectly clean when you get back? I understand scrubbing out what you can, but to spend hours to get it out when all you do is set it down on the ground and its already dirty? It also starts to fade the camouflage after awhile.  What do you think is right?</div> Tue, 04 Feb 2014 00:43:47 -0500 What are your thoughts about 'field uniforms'? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-are-your-thoughts-about-field-uniforms <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Have you ever been told to have a clean serviceable uniform before going to the field or range when you know your going to get completely muddy and dirty? I also know that where there are little chances for mistakes, some soldiers take it to the limit. What matter most is the before. It is but proper to go to the rage clean and fun to get back dirty (lolol). U wouldn't wanna fire ur riffle with all the carbon in it so it a mental game. It made no sense to me to wear all of your best stuff to just ruin it by dropping vehicle fluids on it during pmcs. As to cleanliness - I believe in what I call functionally clean. It won&#39;t pass a white glove inspection but it will do its job.
