What are your thoughts on appointing Donald Trump as Speaker of the House?

Not feasible as he isn't a member of Congress.
But as an intellectual exercise, were he a member of the House, and a member of the Majority Party, it would be interesting.
That said, this role is "administrative" in nature more than "leadership." It would be more like the Chief of Staff or the Scheduler for the Commander than anything. Not really a good fit for Mr. Trump's skillset.
Sure, it has A LOT of Power, but it's the wrong type of Power. All torque, no speed.

Well he'd have to get elected to the house first wouldn't he? I also don't think anything would ever get done. I can see him being a decent leader when he doesn't have to cooperate with others, but I don't see him organizing the house...
