What are your thoughts on the lone wolf attack threats to the military members and their families.

I certainly don't want for my family to be endangered but I refuse to run scared in my own country. I know that its a different world and that you can't fight an enemy that is too scared to show its face. Your thoughts? Thanks

I agree with you sir. I refuse to let a group of individuals influence my day to day activities. The moment we let that happen, is the moment they win....plus I am due for my annual pistol qual if they do show up.

They need to be prosecuted as terrorists and not 'work-place violence' criminals for one. I too will not run scared and will remain vigilant, similar to living in and/or travelling in a high-crime neighborhood. To all - watch what you post to social media in regards to where you live and future plans - do not telegraph your actions.

I see it very simply and to quote General "Mad Dog" Mattis, "Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet". No, that doesn't mean random violence or paranoia ... it means be ready to face and eliminate any threat, anywhere, any time. WE WILL NOT BACK DOWN FROM ISIS OR ANY OF THEIR COWARDLY, MURDEROUS KIND!!

I thank them for the considerate gesture -- you see, I'm not legally able to get back into the fight (although it's certainly possible). So thank you ISIL for bringing the fight to me so that I can make a martyr out of you.

Of course, given how badly ISIL got its ass kicked when it tried to overrun a base staffed with Americans just this past week, I'd say maybe they're reconsidering screwing with a bunch of sheepdogs.

I don't have a big problem if they want to come target me...or at least when I was in uniform...but it is a different story when it comes to my, or anyones else's, family. Not sure why I keep thinking that these animal have some sense of honor?

Have a plan, know your neighbors, know their capabilities, prepare your family to defend themselves, and if something presents a threat, you hunt it down and you kill it. Be a hard target.

Have a plan, know your neighbors, their capabilities, and work with them. Always operate on the premise that the enemy is watching. Train your family, counter surveillance, mental awareness, and self-defense. It’s a different world now kids.

Remember, it’s not the fastest, and it’s not even the strongest, it's the one who’s more willing.

I'm not sure it'll be common in NH where getting a license to carry is about as hard as getting a library card.
