Having militas stand armed outside of recruiting stations is a great idea but in practice can be very bad. To me, its like throwing gas on the fire hoping it will stay under control.Response by SGT Ben Keen made Jul 21 at 2015 2:16 PM2015-07-21T14:16:19-04:002015-07-21T14:16:19-04:00CMSgt Mark Schubert832102<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I with them - the "military" can ask them to go away, but they can do as they wish. In our AO we have retired Marines protecting some of the recruiting offices. Our response is to leave the offices immediately. I get why...we don't know if they are crazy or a friendly, but at least someone is stepping up to serve again. I am not talking about Tea Party nut jobs as someone in another thread either. I am talking about a diverse group of individuals that wear their retired Marine hat and take their oath seriously.Response by SMSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 21 at 2015 5:32 PM2015-07-21T17:32:37-04:002015-07-21T17:32:37-04:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member833033<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I think it is stupid. Let the militias guard over our boys. There is nothing wrong with it. They aren't hurting anyone, and they are doing what the militia has been doing for over 200 years. They are guarding their homeland.Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 21 at 2015 7:35 PM2015-07-21T19:35:26-04:002015-07-21T19:35:26-04:002015-07-21T14:14:11-04:00
