I've been in for almost 18 years with my arm being tattooed 16 of those years. I am one those that remember the days of the sleeves being rolled on the BDUs and yes at times it brought into question the professionalism of the Soldier, but I never for a moment allowed others to believe I was less than a capable Soldier and allowed my actions to speak for themselves. Typically the guy with tattooed sleeves is a crazy mofo with some serious upper body strength... ... I.E. The guy I want next me in a firefight in the middle of Iraq or Afghanistan.<br /><br />Related, I hate cadence in formation runs with a passion, but the cadence of the week goes to some awesome 82nd Airborne Soldier running a formation in Ardennes on Wednesday morning: "Tatted up / sleeves up / guns out / funs out".
