It is the secrecy that shrouds the job. It is romanticized by literature & film. Hell, most members would love to give their shot at it. However, most quickly find out its not what it is written up/filmed as.

I would love to go back 15 years & give it a shot, but that ship has sailed :) Response by SSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 4 at 2015 12:02 PM 2015-03-04T12:02:23-05:00 2015-03-04T12:02:23-05:00 Maj Private RallyPoint Member 1001936

I'm glad they talked about how a big part of Special Operations is partner building. While at Kadena I was able to support a mission where our forces were training Korean SF on our MFF techniques. It was a great time seeing the differences and similarities in our forces. Some of my coworkers had the same opportunity with Japanese forces. I thoroughly enjoyed my time supporting the Spec Ops community. They are the hardest workers in the military.
