American Soldiers want alcohol. What would you do in this situation?
Should the drinking age remain 21 or be lowered to 18?

The law is the law. They can wait til they are 21. Or they can petition the state to reduce the legal drinking age.

Given the general actions of junior enlisted personnel, I'd say the drinking age needs raised to 30...

Let's face it, there are plenty of grown people, well above the legal age for drinking who can't handle their way around a bottle. Why on earth would there be a reason for lowering the age?

When I was 18, I wanted the drinking age lowered. Now that I'm 40, I'm glad it wasn't. It's a biological fact that (especially) males are insane until their early 20s because of the hormonal changes. No need to add free access to alcohol into that mix. I tell our 17 yr old son all the time - remember what you're thinking now, and at 24 you'll realize just how wrong that thinking was.
