I used to love to wear them on my fatigues. But, Joey, I wouldn't wear them to work, if I were you.<br />Just my opinion, Joey.<br />-Most Sincerely, MargaretResponse by SPC Margaret Higgins made Aug 6 at 2017 9:08 PM2017-08-06T21:08:12-04:002017-08-06T21:08:12-04:00CPT Private RallyPoint Member2807604<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I use them is garrison pretty much all the time. If you wear boots and utility type pants a work I suppose they would be fine.Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 6 at 2017 9:23 PM2017-08-06T21:23:50-04:002017-08-06T21:23:50-04:00Cpl Jeff N.2808200<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>In the Marine Corps, in garrison, they are pretty much required. We don't tuck our trousers into our boots nor do we use the ties at the bottom of the utility trousers. Marines don't blouse dress uniforms at all as the Army does in some cases.Response by Cpl Jeff N. made Aug 7 at 2017 6:47 AM2017-08-07T06:47:11-04:002017-08-07T06:47:11-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member2808457<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Love them, been using them for years !!Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 7 at 2017 8:54 AM2017-08-07T08:54:44-04:002017-08-07T08:54:44-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member2808885<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I appear to be in the minority that dislike them. I was taught in basic to tuck my pants into my boots and after I was at my first duty station and tried them, I didn't like the feel.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 7 at 2017 11:16 AM2017-08-07T11:16:29-04:002017-08-07T11:16:29-04:00SGT Matthew S.2810613<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I used them in garrison as my COC felt they presented a more "professional" appearance than tucking in the legs of the trousers. That being said, when in the field or deployed I always tucked in my trouser legs for practical reasons.Response by SGT Matthew S. made Aug 7 at 2017 9:45 PM2017-08-07T21:45:19-04:002017-08-07T21:45:19-04:00MAJ Private RallyPoint Member2810830<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I started Marine Corps and have used them from the first day we were allowed to in basic (later phase of). I don't like tucking into my boots and am usually one of the few in my unit to use them.Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 7 at 2017 11:00 PM2017-08-07T23:00:45-04:002017-08-07T23:00:45-04:00CPT Private RallyPoint Member2812142<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You could pull in the class B vs ACU arguement here. Tucked in is practical. I say you only need to wear the acu if your doing a job that requires the practical use of it. Leadership's arguement is flawed if for in garrison they make someone blouse for a professional look. If you are worried about that then atleast asu class b. Other wise i think COC worrying about someones pants leg is nit picking micromanagement.Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 8 at 2017 11:51 AM2017-08-08T11:51:05-04:002017-08-08T11:51:05-04:00SSgt Dale Wysinger2820414<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Never had a problem with them.Response by SSgt Dale Wysinger made Aug 10 at 2017 9:02 PM2017-08-10T21:02:40-04:002017-08-10T21:02:40-04:002017-08-06T21:02:44-04:00
