Is it real? Does it differ from culture to culture? Is it learned? Pros and Cons? Can it be faked?

Motorcycle clubs are full of alpha males...managing them is like herding cats.

It is real. I would agree that it's learned by the way you were raised. To me it doesn't matter who has the trait dad, mom etc.
Like most anything else comparing cultures yes I do believe it would be different.
Pros you learn to lead immediately but it might not be the right way to lead. It takes a team much like it takes a village.
Cons you think you know how to lead but then you don't. Other than its my way or the highway. That's not a great leadership trait.
No doubt it can be faked. It's seen everyday in the weight room. The way people talk. Those that want to be alpha, drop weights, grunt as loud as possible. In the HEY IM HERE!

If you drop >400 pounds after a deadlift, I give you a pass. If you drop <80lb dumbbells, you're a douche.

I don't think it's just how you were raised. I think it can be learned by environment as well and at any time.

My opinion on the matter is the only one that counts and I was first to chime in!
