What ATTRS courses (mainly for DL points but open to others) are geared towards the logistics career field?

I'm looking to take courses that relate to my MOS (92A-Logistics Specialist). Any ATTRS course relating to Logistics/supply that you can think of definitely don't hesitate to reach out. SGT Private RallyPoint Member, when you say "DL Points", are you talking about retirement points, promotion points, or something else?

Most often the question is asked for retirement points. The Army doesn't give retirement points for DL course anymore unless the soldier is performing an ATA for the course (and then it's limited to 12 per year).

However, to your point, here are some resources (ATTARS and otherwise) you can check out for DL Logistic-related training.

I'd get my hands on the current EBDL list and check out anything with "GCSS" in the name.

Such as:
GCSS-ARMY EQUIPMENT RECORDS PART SPECIALIST
GCSS- ARMY DATA MINING
GCSS-ARMY PROPERTY BOOK
GCSS- ARMY UNITY SUPPLY
etc...............

First and foremost I would make sure I complete my DLC 1/DLC 2 before investing time in any other DL course because these are REQUIRED for promotion.

Next, if you're looking to accumulate DL points for promotion points purposes, I would go in ATRRS or JKO and use the sort feature for those courses that count for points. I would choose courses based on personal interest rather than MOS related because the Army doesn't care whether on not its related to your field; as long as its one of the "ATRRS DL points" designated courses. Also, you're more likely to finish the course if its of personal interest. Make sure you register for the course in ATRRS FIRST, before enrolling in JKO so that the enrollment reflects on your Army training record.

Regarding courses in your logistics field, once you've done your DLC and maxed out DL points for promotion, if you're still hungry for MOS related self development, I would pursue a civilian credential. These are worth additional promotion points, are recognized by civilian employers, and best of all, are paid for by the Army using Credentialing Assistance at http://www.armyignited.army.mil.

Take a look at the link below. Just type in your MOS and it will show you all the civilian certifications related MOS 92A.

Trust me, this is a far more profitable investment of your time.
