HELP. Prior service Marine in army Infantry OSUT with major BAH issues. Was told I would get Home of record rate but am getting GA rate.

So I’m a prior service Marine attending Infantry OSUT. I am married with a child on the way. I was told by my recruiter, MEPS, and PAB here that I will get BAH on my spouses location (NY) but am now being told I will get GA BAH. almost a 2k$ difference per month. I originally had 14 week orders here but they changed it to 25 Bc of COVID and how long it’s taking to insert into training but was told it wouldn’t affect it. It’s a huge issue as now I’m going from 3200$ in bah/month to 1200. I submitted a pay inquiry but was told Bc my orders don’t state 20 weeks or less I will get GA bah. This paced me into huge financial hardship as I’m here for who knows how long trying to pay NY rent on GA bah. Can I state my case to legal or finance? There are about 12 prior service guys all dealing with the same thing and we’re told basically it’s a knows issue but no one knows what to do. I’ve been to my command multiple times and keep getting told the same run around/submit an inquiry.

Do your orders authorize dependent travel? Doubt it. Therefore is unaccompanied travel. I could be wrong, I've been out of the game for 4 years, but BAH should be based on your spouse location. Again, family travel is not authorized!!!!!!

When I went to bct and ait, my bah was based on my home of record. What they are telling you seems wrong to me.
