What can a 13J expect at Fort Carson, 2nd brigade 4ID?

If you go to 2-4ID, 2-77 FA. M119 and M777 howitzers.

98% chance you’ll go to 2-77 FA. It’s a beautiful post and even better off post. Don’t stay at home, get out and explore the Mountain View’s, small town areas, trails, etc.

Side note - try to do some extra PT on your own before getting to your unit and DRINK WATER. The elevation will get to you if you don’t properly acclimate!

It is a great place much to do on weekends just get off the base. Can't say much about 4ID when I was there is was with 2/3 ACR E-Troop. Never understood why they put a desert unit in the mountains of Co. Just don't be a home body.
