As my old Active Duty unit was near the end of their 5 week NIE (field training/testing new toys) when I left, my ETS award had fallen into the Twilight Zone and it never came back out, and they could have cared less when I asked after-the-fact. Ironically, I asked when--a year later--my old 1SG called to ask me where to send my Good Conduct medal. So I got the one award I wasn&#39;t even tracking, but not the other. Not a big deal for me; still, it would have been nice I guess. Good luck
