PFC Private RallyPoint Member 4956492

My wife and I are both in the Army, but still in AIT. Army Couple Program is good, got the same assignment! We are not prior service.
I will grad on Oct 02nd and she will grad at the end of November. My report date is November 13th but could change (that’s what I heard so far).
I want to travel at the same time with her, so wait for her to grad and PCS (to Hawaii).
Please what are my options if there are? What can I do to PCS at the same time with my wife? 2019-08-25T22:27:36-04:00 PFC Private RallyPoint Member 4956492

My wife and I are both in the Army, but still in AIT. Get used to being split from your spouse and just be happy you two are close together. As a 91F,once you become a SSG it will be almost impossible to get stationed where you want. If your spouse is a 91F, then even worse.
The Army is not going to let you, a fully qualified Soldier, sit around unoccupied for two months because you don't want to travel alone. Go to Hawaii and set up your house so your spouse has a home ready to walk into when she gets there. As opposed to the two of you sitting in lodging for weeks waiting on a house. That is not bad. Go get things set up and put in what little leave you have or a pass or two when she gets there. Talk to your leadership about it ahead of time. But I suggest to just get everything ready for your wife. If you are already inprocessed and settled, it makes things easier for your wife. Go and get the house ready and stay out of trouble while in Hawaii while there alone... Nevertheless, is not that bad of a situation. Go ahead and set up everything for your spouse arrival. Word of advice: don’t get too crazy!!!! Be frugal but enjoy the islands. That report date on your orders is just the last possible day for you to get there. Your real report date will be what is on your leave form. It would be best to get there first so you can get your house there and be there when your household goods arrive.
