Not sure about everything to mention. But what I would suggest is Intel Architecture, IPB, and MDMP. And Joint Ops. However, prepare by making sure everything is squared away. You'll learn as you go and just really pay attention to what you're learning, but don't forget to learn from your peers. You've all had different experiences, and I probably learned more from them than anything else. They read everyone’s papers and everyone read theirs. They were open to different experiences from different people. Go in there with the goal of having the whole class have success and you will have success. The other stuff they will teach you. Remember being a leader is not about being in charge. Get up to speed on that because you will likely using that to do both your country and threat group briefs! You will be briefing a lot , if you’re active duty , you are likely more to be more comfortable than us reservists. All in all, enjoy the experience and learn from your peers.! Your fellow E-5s and possible E-6s come various parties of the country bringing different experiences and viewpoints to the class! Learn from them , take what you can and apply it to how you lead and mange your troops and you’ll be fine. Also, your ALC is likely to have soldiers from all three components of the army so be prepared to work through some Army “ cultural” differences between the components!
