What can I expect as a 25B in the 82nd Airborne?

So after submitting my airborne packet, I got projections to the 3rd brigade combat team 82nd airborne division. Is being in the 82nd as a 25B different from being a 25B in any other unit? Also i've seen alot of negative stuff regarding the 82nd and Fort Bragg in general, but I only live two hours away from Fort Bragg so honeslty i'm pretty happy with my projections, although it would be nice if the unit was decent as well. Basically my question is what is the 82nd like for a 25B and what is the enviroment like in general.

You find negative anywhere

The 82d has a long history of getting in the fight fast. Regardless of the MOS they are a good outfit

Running, jumping, training, running, field, running, jumping, and running.
Seriously, some of the best times I had in the Army were in the 82nd. No place I'd rather be.
Whatever unit you're assigned to, be the best at your job and airborne operations, then cross train.

I would focus on Airborne School first. One step at a time!
Worrying about your projected unit will neither change it, or help you.
I will tell you that if you go into a unit with a desire to work, learn, and lead by example, you will be able to better your circumstances wherever you are planted.
The 82nd is not one dimensional. One soldiers experience does not define it.
I believe that if you get on board with your Commanders METL, you will see things from a good perspective.
Many soldiers complain about their personal circumstances instead of striving to be integrated in the units missions.
Many soldier also can only see their unit as their Squad or Platoon. The Army is much bigger than that.
If you are ever treated unfairly by your Squad, or Platoon, or Company, remember that the big Army believes in the Army Values. We will always support a soldier that is doing what is right.

A lot of BS. Best advice. High PT, maintain high standards of bearing and professionalism and you will stand out among the rest. Those who stand out in a good manage to magically get promoted above peers. Remember that.

You make it what ever you want it to be, the pride of the 82nd is well carried within the ranks. To tell you the truth, "You're worrying about something and you're not there yet, Go with the flow when you get there and you'll be just fine.

I was in B/1-508, 3rd Bde., a long time ago (81-82). Things may have changed since then, but I remember that the infantry companies and battalions were always rotating in and out of the field. That means that the signal sections never get any rest. The good thing about that is you will become an expert in your skills fast.

Signal your responsibility to support a Bn or BDE as 25B. You will be working more likely at Bn level because is where all 25B are working. Company you will n’t Be assign. Enjoy is one of the best experiences you will have. Airborne

You will only hear the negative stuff by weak minded tiny hearted individuals who are undisciplined and couldn't hack it. Not sure about 25B, but IMHO, the 82nd is one of the best units in all of the Army. Follow orders, do what you're told and maintain discipline and military bearing and you will be fine. I was in 1BCT, but I had friends in 3BCT and all loved Bragg.

You'll hear negative stuff everywhere you go. There are good and bad things about every place and every unit. I went to The Duece expecting the worst from the stories I heard. What I found was a hard working and proud organization. Work ethic will get you farther than talent, and when you leave you'll be capable of thriving in any other organization. Sure, you'll jump into JRTC and it sucks, but if you went to a different unit it would be NTC or ATC or YTC. The suck is going to suck, regardless of where you go. But at the 82nd you get chances to do fun jumps, travel to Europe for WW2 history, and you'll get to field test the newest Army equipment.
