It really depends on if you get sent to a squadron or the FRC.Response by SSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 6 at 2019 6:05 PM2019-03-06T18:05:34-05:002019-03-06T18:05:34-05:00PO2 Verl Shields4842043<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>in the 80's I was a PR2. It is working on Personal flight gear, Aircraft mounted flight gear. Running a sewing machine. It is a very customer service job. Pilots and Aircrew have problems with their gear, and you fix it. I worked on P-3's 2 tours (Totally Land Based, P8's are the type of Aircraft they use now). H2's one Tour. As a PR there is no need for a rigger on the cruse's. So I never was on a ship either. As a PR there were no chance to fly. If you wish to be a swimmer PR would not be a good choice. But it has been many years since I was around.Response by PO2 Verl Shields made Jul 23 at 2019 10:45 PM2019-07-23T22:45:48-04:002019-07-23T22:45:48-04:002019-03-06T09:52:46-05:00
