My advice... don't trust anyone be very careful what you say... start researching MEB, PEB and VA disability. Make sure you keep copies of everything. Get second opinions and speak with legal... know your rights and don't cave or sign anything... if pressured. Hopefully they will not target you for removal. Remember their goal... injured gone.. no benefits. I went through MEDhold at Ft Carson... so did many of my friends.. we all got screwed. And don't believe that Warrior BS.. they came up with that after all the sucides and deaths from the first years of the war.. Remember many of the workers are contractors.. most don't give a rats ass... your just a number in their budget... National Guard is treated the worst. MEB 0% then 40% took away 20% which means ..no money.. Currently 194% VA disability using VA calculator.. I get 160% pay. NG kicked me to the curb... as well... horrible situation. You are being assigned there to heal. Now depending on approval and your plan you may be authorized to get an internship or take courses while you are there. I recall have to do PT still but it is not your standard PT. Make sure you take this opportunity to heal. The by no means, means that you are being removed from the army but that they are going to give you time to heal. If circumstances allow and should you want you may be able to return to active service if you are cleared by the MEB Response by SPC Robert Patrick made Jan 6 at 2020 11:08 PM 2020-01-06T23:08:59-05:00 2020-01-06T23:08:59-05:00 2020-01-04T18:59:59-05:00
