What can I expect coming in as an instructor under the "TRAP" program at the ALC/SLC NCO Academy on Fort Huachuca?

Came up as DA select to instruct at ALC on Huachuca with report date this June. I could not feel more grateful for this opportunity. Any insight is appreciated.

I am your Branch Manager ( took over the position 8 months ago), I screened your records and files. It will be one of the most rewarding assignments. When we place Soldiers on assignment instructions (AI) please remember HRC does not place you on AI to a position, we place Soldiers on AI to unit. Once you arrive the CSM will place you where you will best suit and where the need is at. The great thing is that as an instructor it really doesn't matter at what level you are on podium, you will learn so much, you will have a lasting effect on those Soldiers. I was assigned to Tradoc back in 06' and it developed me as a Leader, Soldier and an individual. I am excited to be working with each and everyone of you all!!!

I was a SGL at Huachuca from 97-99 and it was one of the more challenging assignments of my career. I met a lot of great NCOs including several that went onto to become CSMs, but at times it was very challenging because of the students that were going through the course.
