It's not that hard, just show up on time and have the right gear. If you haven't already take a look at your welcome packet and it will describe how the course regiment will be structured as well as core competencies. My WLC (about 3 years ago) also went into leading PRT, inspecting squad sized elements, army writing, counselings, and 4856's. You will probably have to teach a short class somewhere in the 4 week course. The first part will be like doing SSD but in a classroom/group setting. In all seriousness though, you learn what right looks like while you're there, then return to your unit to see how are up they really are.

You'll learn D&C, propper commands rather than "what everyone else does", counselings, WTT battle drills, saying the NCO creed several times a day, along with the Soldiers creed. It's not MOS related, just the common basic leadership fundamentals. Good luck! Any thing you perform incorrectly will subtract points from your overall total of 100, under 70% and you fail. I've only seen people fail due to the APFT, busting tape, and general asshatery. There are different instructors, different classroom settings, different units in charge of the class. So you may hear stories from one person as to what they did at their BLC, but your experience can be totally different. The only things that will be the same, is what they are supposed to teach you.

When I went through class, the first 2 weeks were mainly classroom instruction. We spent a lot of time getting death by powerpoints and then taking tests on the topics they would teach. The tests were basically open book. You just had to know how to ctrl+f to search a PDF for the answers.

During the day also, we would practice PRT. Every day before lunch, we would go change to PTs and then conduct PRT with one of the classmates leading it. Actually it was 2 people who took turns.

Topics we covered in class that I can remember:
SHARP
Writing Award
Writing NCOER
Learning NCO Creed
Learning Army Song
How to give a presentation (And then giving one)
Army Leadership
Sworn Statements
Speeches (I gave mine on the history of rank)

And then the last like 6 days was the following:
1 day of tactical movements. Like moving from one location to another, and sectors of fire.
1 day land navagation
3 days FTX
Graduation!

Just remember to focus on school. It's only 3 weeks and will help out in the long run.
