SGT Private RallyPoint Member 230133 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>On the 2nd of September I earned my promotable status. I was told it would take 72 hours to update on my ERB but S1 has not yet updated it. I have been 2 days in a row. Yesterday to my Squadron S1 and today to Regimental S1 and they said they take care of it. Just wondering, what are my options if by the 8th my status has yet to change, can I get it amended and if so, who should I talk to? What can one do if his Promotable Status doesn't get updated on his ERB? 2014-09-06T10:56:11-04:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 230133 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>On the 2nd of September I earned my promotable status. I had one of my guys backdated to meet points 3 months. Just make sure Top knows that you have made numerous appearances and that you will leave it to him. That way, the next time he gets pissed off, he will take it out on PAC. Congrats on (P)! Unless it can be proven the error was the fault of HRC, a promotion can no longer be backdated. It's call Administrative Records Correction (ARC) and if the error is the result of Soldier or unit fault, then HRC won't honor the promotion. It was mechanism put in place a few years back to put more pressure on the Soldier and the field to perform updates in a timely manner. Too many back dated promotions messes with the numbers of NCO slots and causes ripple effects into the SFC, MSG and SGM boards.
