As people become more relaxed they tend to vote Democrat, but when certain types of threats are perceived they will vote Republican. I predict with all of the current issues, domestic and abroad, we are going to see a slightly higher turnout for Republicans. And then there is the second part of my vote, doesn't matter, nothing will change!!! Just maybe we can end sequestration and DOD will get off the backs of those serving and retirees. Maybe even some of the bills Harry Reid has been holding hostage might go somewhere. But then again maybe nothing will happen until the Republicans control Congress and the White House. I just have a small hope that some of the do nothing congress will stop using the military as a bargaining chip. Fund us properly to buy the equipment and pay us what we earn and stop the games of should we lose retirement, etc.

I am pessimistic any of this will happen. My guess is things won't get to normal until the next round. Not that I am saying bad about the executive, but it appears there is too much hard nose politics just make him fail. Whether or not we agree with his policies or not, we something budget passed so we get the country back on track. There are a few prominent Republicans that need to go as well. It will be an interesting election. The RINOs and Ds will bully conservatives into corners without committee jobs. Unless Boehner loses the Speaker seat, nothing will change in the House. The first order of congressional business, contrary to popular belief, is not getting legislation passed, but getting re-elected. Getting re-elected takes money and passing bills that negatively affect the big contributors, negatively effects re-election efforts.

And he congress, goes rolling, along...
