What can you tell me about life at Ft. Riley for HUMINTers?

I'm trying to find an MI unit located at this place but have thus far been unsuccessful. All I want to know is what I should expect to be doing as a 35M30 at Ft. Riley. One of my battles told me that there are a lot of TDY opportunities for us over there. I hope that this is true.

I'm a 35P currently working at a MICO in FT Riley. Our Mikes are always on TDY either at school or working. I think you will like it here

If it's how you describe, then I think I "will" like it there. I could definitely use some schools.

Or you could very well end up supporting an infantry unit. I hated Ft.Riley so bad I volunteered to go to Korea.

Depending how much time you have remaining in service, I suggest consider going warrant or commissioned

SSG Audwin Scott - I have 14 and some change. The thought has crossed my mind before as it seems that the novelty of being a HUMINTer has completely worn off; especially at SSG and above. I just wanted to get a better NCOER for this year to make up for the one I had the displeasure of receiving last year.....which I definitely accomplished.

Marc it would definitely pay off, if I could do it all over again I would have went commissioned, the retirement check would be a lot more if you know what I mean lol.
