Some had hoped the new 670-1 would establish an across-the-board policy for color of reflective belts worn with the APFU, but alas it makes no mention besides &quot;Command discretion&quot;.&lt;div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;To start off, the last Army Post I was at (Ft.Bliss) wears:&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Blue - Officers&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Green - NCOs&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Yellow - Junior Enlisted&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Additionally how do you guys feel about your posts policies regarding reflective belts? Personally I&#39;m in favor of Ft. Hood and similar posts, where everyone wears one color w/rank pins. We&#39;re all equal in PT, why the need for different color belts? I wish the Army would loose the belt and just improve the incorporated reflective material on the tops and shorts and make it the standard for PT across the Army. Just seems redundant to me... While I was there they changed to green for NCOs, Blue for officers, yellow for enlisted, and red for medcom. I would love to know the statistics of how many soldiers have actually been hit by a vehicle while doing PT. I would split the time frames from 88 to 05 and 06 to present. I would imagine the numbers would be absolutely astoundingly small. But safety! This is one of the reasons why they started making us put rank on the PT belts. That, or wearing the different colors so that the NCO&#39;s and Officers would be visible while in PTs. MPs all wore Orange regardless of rank. Fort Shafter I heard was the opposite on the order of color.
