What could I do to help compete for Best Warrior Competition?

Be selected to compete. Have a very high APFT score, a very high weaposn qual score, know your Warrior skills backward and forward, know all kinds of military knowledge.

SGT (Join to see) to add to that, usually each MACOM has internal competitions to select their entrants. Do as MSG (Join to see) advises and make it known To your 1SG that you'd like to go after it. If they see you have ability and desire, they'll invest training and time into you to be competitive.

I remember looking at the posted PFT tests for the Force Recon guys, a very high percentage maxed it. That’s how you get in as a young enlisted or at least get a shot.
