Additionally I thought it would go great with a M.S.E, it has been an interesting and challenging degree. I can finally see the light at the end on the tunnel and it's glorious. What degrees is everyone pursuing and what decisions went into landing on that particular choice. What degree/degree are you pursuing or currently have? My junior year I stopped enjoying what I was doing because the school had you take two semesters of accounting, two semesters of economics, finance, business law and other classes that had little to do with my field. I took several 400 level marketing courses (enough to get a minor) and changed my major to a combined bachelor's in advertising and public relations. I really enjoyed the work I was doing in advertising/marketing/design. My concentration is actually in public relations.

I love the work I do now which is a combination of web design, graphic design, social media marketing, social media management, and blog/newsletter writing and editing. My education has given me a lot of skills that I can improve upon continuously since the platforms and technology is changing so fast.

If I'm being honest with myself I would love to go back to school and get further education in completely different areas of study like geology. I used to go out and collect rock and fossil samples from streams and other places and take them back to the science lab to be analyzed. I'm also slowing learning coding and video game design for my personal enjoyment. I love my job but I would like to do something more meaningful with my life. The idea of creating or designing something new really excites me. Unfortunately it will be from the Army War College, unfortunately it will be the same as the one from Naval War College. It’s a check the block to make the Army happy. The other two are from Georgetown, MA Social and public policy and an MS&T in info ops and cyber Intel from National Intel Univ. Those two were really fun. I really enjoy going to school and learning in these classes. But I will admit, I am really not motivated to do the War College thing. I was on the slow boat to higher education, but I never gave up my seat on the boat. After I earned my Masters , the position I have now opened up, the previous guy retired. The door opened, and I applied, nailed it. I had the experience but never had the education for that jump to the next level. When I was selected, my pay pretty much doubled overnight. So yes I support higher education, never give up on a dream, because if you keep trying their will be a door that opens. Also pursue a career with a future, their are ton of people with degrees that are quite frankly useless, and they owe, and owe a lot. If you want to study ancient Tibetan Calligraphy or some such thing, that's great, just remember you still have to able to eat and pay the rent.
