So far, it's been flawless. No drama, and they have paid their bills as agreed. As with all insurance, being in network is the best solution, but our dentists take BCBS with no issues.Response by CW3 Richard Doty made Oct 15 at 2025 10:04 PM2025-10-15T22:04:50-04:002025-10-15T22:04:50-04:00Maj James Tippins9033296<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Been researching...looks like we may be going to MetLife. I go to the VA but my wife has $2000 a year dental coverage with the AARP United Health Care plan and they even cover crowns. That is for in network but they had several local and one we really like. I suppose that would work for retirees under Medicare age. I never used the VA because I always had some employer coverage.<br /><br />As a retiree on Medicare and TFL, I researched the BENEFEDS website and made a choice. I will select the MetLife Federal Dental Plan when the November election date arrives. The calendar year 2026 will have me on a new plan, and hopefully, I won't encounter similar problems as I did with Humana.Response by Maj James Tippins made Oct 21 at 2025 8:32 AM2025-10-21T08:32:49-04:002025-10-21T08:32:49-04:00SCPO Robert F.9035306<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>FEDVIP then shop for the plan that best meets my needsResponse by SCPO Robert F. made Oct 23 at 2025 3:17 PM2025-10-23T15:17:40-04:002025-10-23T15:17:40-04:002025-10-15T16:45:51-04:00
