What did you like/dislike about attending the NCO Academy for BLC(WLC), ALC or SLC? Do you go there for SGM as well?

You'll go to BLC at whatever post you're at, they'll teach you how to read regs. You'll go to ALC and SLC at the schoolhouse where you went to AIT. ALC will reach you your advanced techniques and skills for your MOS. SLC will teach you how the Army runs. MLC is at your post like BLC and the SGM Academy is at Bliss, where you'll attend with people from the Reserves and NG as well.

I did SGM course non-resident, as I saw spending a year at Bliss a waste of time (for me). If you wanted to go to finish a degree or something like that, ok, but I didn't. I just wanted to finish my SGM course to retire as a SGM. Later I learned doing SGM course was double as hard taking the non-resident course as I had to figure most of it out myself. Probably retained more that way

Loved it the class was fantastic,was abel to connect with soldiers I have not seen in awhile it was a very good experience.
