I JOIN THE MILTARY IN 96. I BECAME AN 88M LIFE WAS GOOD LOVE THE JOB. NEVER HAD A PROBLEM TILL I WAS SENT TO SINAI EGYPT IN 99. I STARTED GETTING ALOT OF PIAN IN MY JAW. I WENT TO THE DOC AND NOTHING WAS DONE. I COULD NOT EAT SLEEP OR TALK IT GOT TO THE POINT WHERE I WANTED TO RIP MY FACE OFF. I WAS STILL PULLING MY MISSION AND GOING TO THE DOC. THERE WAS NO HELP SO I KNEW SPANISH I WENT TO THE COLUMBIAN DOCTOR THAT WAS THERE. HE TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING HE CAN DO BUT TO GIVE NOVACINE SHOT IN MY JAW FOR ME TO FUNCTION. THAT WAS OK TILL ONE DAY WAS WASHING CLOTHES AND FELL OUT FOUND MYSELF IN THE CLINIC WITH THE SAME DOC THAT SAID THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO NOW SLICING MY UPPER PALET OPEN AND SEWING A LATEX GLOVE TO KEEP THERE WHILE HITTING ME UP WITH MORPHING AND SAYING SORRY. I GET BACK STATE SIDE I START GETTING THESE MIGRANES AND SINUS INFECTION NEVER HAD THEM BEFORE AND I'M STILL HAVING A HARD TIME SLEEPING. AT THIS IT IS SUMMER OF 2001 AND I'm SEEING A DOC FOR MIGRANES AT THE SAME TIME I TIME A P/T TEST AND LOSE CONTROL OF MY JAW MOTION SEPT 11 HIT AND I PUT ALL THAT TO THE SIDE BECAUSE THE SITUATION ALL THAT TAKES A BACK SEAT. IN SHORT TIME I WAS NOT ABEL TO REUP AND WENT TO THE VA REP WHILE I WAS ACAP AND THEY GAVE ME 60 50 FOR MIGRANES AND 30 FOR SINUS. A SHORT TIME AFTER I WAS CALLED TO THE RESERVES AND RELEASED. I WAS ABEL TO GET A JOB AND WORK FOR 10 YEAR WITH A PERSON THAT UNDERSTOOD ME AND WAS ABLE TO HELP. NOW I STARTED GETTING ATTACKS TO WHERE I WINE UP IN THE HOSPITAL THRU THE YEARS IT HAS BEEN DISCOVER THAT I HAVE SLEEP ANEA, CORONAY DESEASE, AND PTSD, SARCIODSIS, ASTHMA PUT SEVERAL CLAIMS IN AND THEY ARE BEING APPEALED DON'T KNOW WHAT MY CHANCES ARE AND I'M ABOUT TO BE HOMEESS. Sounds like a very horrible story. The only thing I can advise you do keep going to the VA to complain about the pain you are feeling. You also have a right to put in an appeal if you feel that you are not getting the compensation you feel you need.
