Have you talked to your recruiter to find out what CAP paperwork that MEPs will accept?

Isaiah Cordova - In Boot Camp listen closely to the Drill Instructors and be observant. Always put forth your maximum effort and never quit. Earning the title of Marine will be worth the effort.

My son went into boot camp in Sep 2018. He was in JROTC for 4 yrs high school and jokingly told me that my stories of playing ping pong in the USAF at GAFB (423x3 fuel systems) didn't inspire him. He said "I'm getting after it and am going to enlist in the USMC". Well almost two years later he's at 8th and I and on the Silent Drill Platoon. He was a squad leader the whole time in boot camp, turned 18 while there and caught the crud like most of his fellow recruits.
It's important to seek out a leadership position while in boot camp whatever that may be, guide, squad leader, scribe---the old saw "don't volunteer for anything" isn't part of the USMC. Thank you for taking this step to serve your country!

Sgt (Join to see) - Thank you for serving Daniel. Your son is a squared away Marine and he is definitely getting after it. Pass on a "Semper Fi" from me and invite him to join RallyPoint if he is not already a member.

When I enlisted in 1992 you had to have the Billy Mitchell award to get E2 from the Army and I went to basic as an E2.

For the marines they only require 2 years of service.
