I can divide it into a few categories for self driven self improvement. Physical, Mental, Professional, Relational, and Spiritual.
Naturally there is some overlap as we are holistic beings. The challenge: Think of a way to grow or improve in each area each day. Remember if you are not growing, you are dying.
So. How are your improving yourself? What do you do on your time to improve yourself? 2015-12-04T16:20:56-05:00 CW2 Private RallyPoint Member 1151242

I am sitting on Staff Duty as the SDNCO and my thoughts are going to this question: "What am I actively doing to improve myself on a daily basis?"
I go to the gym, but the job is so much more than physical.
So here is the deal. Also, I try to keep up with the latest news, trends, and training that involves myself or my troops. The hardest thing is that I do is constantly self evaluate and determine my good habits and the bad habits. I try to increase the good habits and decrease the bad. And lastly, to remind myself that I need to constantly work on learning and not rest on my past experience. If that means coming up with a few COA's on how to do something better then so be it. Or maybe just knocking out some military correspondence courses . I always keep in the back on my mind that if you become stall or stagnate someone will come and take your place. always improve your foxhole.
