Sorry to be late with this response. 91E are, certainly, a specialty MOS. I promoted quickly to E5 and waited nearly 8 years for SSG. The positions for us are few a far between. As a Warrant Officer, I will be the only 914 (Allied Trades Warrant Officer) in the state of Georgia, if that tells you anything. I hope this helps, if you haven't made a decision, already.

I have four 91 Series MOS's in my long 23yr career. I also served as a Motor Sergeant for many years, managing all mechanical maintenance MOS's.
Allied Trades are a special breed. It's also a good certification you can use on the civilian side that makes some good money too!
