If you are responsible enough to carry out of uniform what should stop you from carrying in uniform?? what do you think about Military members with Concealed Carry permits (CCW) carrying in uniform?? 2014-01-28T09:41:11-05:00 WO1 Private RallyPoint Member 45718 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I believe as long as you meet all state and Federal regulations you should be able to carry in uniform. Better left to those in charge of establishing policy. In general though, its a Uniform (hence the word) and altering to be different is not authorized unless specifically sanctioned by a commanding authority. Technically our underwear/socks are hidden, but they are uniform too.<br> Response by SGT Thomas Sullivan made Jan 28 at 2014 4:47 PM 2014-01-28T16:47:56-05:00 2014-01-28T16:47:56-05:00 MSG Private RallyPoint Member 46162 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>For now and until any Policy is changed,&amp;nbsp;as&amp;nbsp;long as&amp;nbsp;you specifically meet&amp;nbsp;Federal regulations like not carrying on post or any federal buildings, why not? If your off post and you posses a CCW or CCP and it is actually concealed I would.&amp;nbsp; There is no reason why not. Of course altering the uniform and carrying it on your hip may be against regulation.&amp;nbsp; There should be nothing stopping you from carrying it in your pocket as long as it doesn&#39;t show a bulky appearance.&amp;nbsp; A .380 is a perfect Pocket Pistol smaller then most Cell phones.&amp;nbsp; Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 28 at 2014 10:48 PM 2014-01-28T22:48:44-05:00 2014-01-28T22:48:44-05:00 PO1 William "Chip" Nagel 91064 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If it all legal and kosher, Why Not. Now having said that when I was in it wasn&#39;t Kosher, Legal or Allowed. Every base I was on required you to surrender your weapon to the Armory and you could check it out for target practice or hunting but no personal firearms were allowed on base, usually by order of the Base Commander and the Naval District Commander.
