It is only when the CAC card has expired or lost that the CAC protocols are a real pain. I have yet to meet anyone who had to reestablish their access with a new card who hasn't had problems getting their work product off of the cloud or assigned computer. However, in the off chance I am surrounded by the digitally challenged, I would like to hear your "CAC Card Stories." What do you think about the Common Access Card (CAC), and what has been your experience with it in an operational environment or in the rear? 2016-04-12T10:34:32-04:00 LTC Thomas Tennant 1447848 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Using my CAC to log on has become second nature for me, so I see no problem and only benefits. I know of no alternative that offers as many uses for the same total cost of use. I think we could improve the way we issue and manage them and maybe invest money into an improved version. not so much on features but improving its ability to withstand non-typical environments. You are correct regarding the frustrations that come with reestablishing access on a new card. But they are efficient! Response by MAJ L.
