FLOTUS Michelle Obama has never made a secret of her disdain for America. She is very vocal in her accusations and condemnations. She has also taken every advantage of her "position" and frequently demanded even more perks than any other FLOTUS has ever received. Thus, I have no respect for her in any capacity and would oppose any attempt to place her in office.

I think that Michelle Obama is an exceptionally educated and bright woman. She has worked successfully as an attorney, and shown herself to be interested and competent in matters of social justice. During president obama's tenure as president she has had such minute details of her appearance in particular scrutinized and criticized. She has put up with being likened to a monkey or ape. Every outfit she puts on is picked apart. Her hair has been the point of several discussions. Her parenting has been called into question. Her interest in preserving children's health thorough better lunch programs and more involvement in sports and exercise activity has been torn apart by people saying that the school lunch program has been "destroyed" by her OPINIONS and COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION efforts. She is not capable of making mandates or laws in her position. Her work with Elizabeth Biden reaching out to military families has been largely ignored.

Yet through it all she has been standing tall and setting a good example for girls and women everywhere. I am proud to support her as a woman, and as a person who seeks to uplift people in the community.

HOWEVER- she has stated on more than one occasion that she has NO interest in seeking office, and after the president's term is over she wants to go back to a regular standard of living and be a private citizen again.

So why bring it up?

As for the statements about her being a divider on the subject of race- are you kidding? Racist? Are you kidding? The fact that she addressed black people specifically and tries to lift them up as able- this is DIVIDING the country? Trying to set an alternative example for black little girls in contrast to the rock and movie stars they look up to now- this is somehow inappropriate? By bringing UP and aknowleging the racial divide (that absolutely still exists) and encouraging others to work to overcome it makes her some kind of RACIST? People who think there is no divide and black peopke are treated the SAME, and have the SAME opportunities, and get the SAME respect- REALLY? Are you paying attention?

People who REFUSE to aknowlege while privilege and that racism STILL exists ARE THE PROBLEM. Get up, read up, look up, and smell the coffee.
