To expand, should the Officers have notified the Mother?
Do you feel the Mother is ungrateful?
I guess I can understand the Mother's concern as someone she knew called without the facts.
This is a prime example of not getting all excited before knowing the facts.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Siria and Starshia were locked out of their house and walking alone after they missed the school bus.....and Contessa (mom) is blaming the Police for creating a situation in which mom starting crying, broke down, and got here and was just hysterical.

So, lets not address the root cause of this whole thing - the girls missed the dang bus because mom failed to get them to the bus stop in time so now we (Contessa) will play the victim and say the Police did something wrong.....Contessa Taylor grow the hell up and take responsibility for failing to take care of your kids by failing to get them to the bus stop on time. The Police force did not do something wrong here. This is a situation that gets my blood boiling, just waiting for the lawsuit which is surely soon to follow!

Thank You CSM Michael J. Uhlig, you stated it perfectly. I am tired of people blaming others for their incompetence.

Being a police officer for many years I have to say I have done the same thing. I do understand the mothers concerns and getting all the facts before you jump to conclusions is usually and always a good idea!
