Online users say this Peloton ad is sexist. Here's what it portrays.
A Peloton ad that published online Nov. 21, and portrayed a woman being gifted a stationary bike became a target of social media criticism in early December....
Ok, I realize I am MALE asking this question, so I don't take the asking lightly.
The recent Twitter rage regarding the Peloton (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ey2_O_VdBA0) ad has people puzzled.

Here is the question, well perhaps the answer to the question about the ad being sexist........
To all the ladies that may provide an answer to this post. I have been married 40+ years to one women, also a veteran. I like stationary bikes and in fact have one, not a Peloton, but have expressed to my wife that I'd like one. I'd like to know your thoughts about this ad.
To everyone who responds, it is important to have an honest conversation about specifics regarding this issue. Also, if Twitter were able to release certain demographic data on the add when demographic would interest you?
Again, I realize I a male asking this question, so please let's be rational and appropriate in any responses.

No one with an IQ over 12 cares, male or female. This is more PC social justice warrior, let's demonize anything that might offend us. These are the <12 IQ crowd.
So, I am a male, I have not seen the ad, don't care about the ad and have zero care or concern about it. I am more concerned with your angst about asking the question because you are a man. It appears they already have you walking on eggshells and afraid to upset the overly sensitive. There is no reason to be concerned about being a man and asking the question.

I am a female and don’t pay attention to the gender of the people in ads. I don’t think the ads are sexist and think people that do need to grow the hell up and realize that occasionally in life they might get offended by something trivial and need to learn to get over it. You don’t have a response that fits my views.

I am a male and I do not know any actual real life person who gives any flying fuck at all about this. I think it's just another one of those articles intended to shock and divide people.
Do you actually know anyone who gives a fuck?

SPC Stewart Smith While I agree with your sentiment, and I am not immune to the use of the word #%#, please should deference! I am NOT a PC guy either, but their are many other ways to express your indignation at the stupidity over the pretense of outrage.
I am sure that someone like CSM Charles Hayden would agree that use of @#$@ in response to this post, is not showing the skills that you have in making a point with settling for the gutter. I sharing because I see you are father. Again, the traps set for those who are conservative and have common sense are many. We as military men and women cannot afford to be drawn into such traps and pitfalls. We can angry and that is fine, but we have to be above he fray and our arguments with skills that others do not expect of us!

CPO Nate S. - I can be sensitive to the word, but I cannot see anything wrong with it's use.
Coming from the army we used that word literally every day.
Our 1SG, in formation would say, "what the fuuuuuu**" and everyone would respond, "WHAT THE FUUUUU**".
It really is one of my favorite multi-purpose words. However, I'll be more sensitive.
Also, I have yet, in my entire life, heard one reasonable argument against it's use. The only thing I have heard is "it's a bad word", "kids shouldn't hear it" or "it offends me". None of these constitute an argument against it's use. None of these show any harm in the use of a word.
