SFC Stephen King Honestly - what is the real purpose of the trip when we have terrorist waging war in the Middle East and many other problems facing the nation. I don't get it. Is this what happens in the "Lame duck" last year of a Presidency?

I don't really have an issue with it but I also sure as heck don't get it. How can it not be a conflict of interest or a public endorsement of a private show? The show is interesting and I don't really care about the issue politically, it just seems weird.

I recommend that you tag the "U.S. Secret Service" Company group since they are the ones who have to protect the President. I know they can't divulge sensitive information; but, since that group has 19 followers they probably have some members who are familiar with the vetting process the Secret Service goes through with invitations from groups as well as groups the White House is interested in without an invitation. I don't know which group the 'Running Wild with Bear Grylls'

This is all political show. I'm here at the Anchorage airport working, this is a major disruption for many people. Hunters and guides are restricted from flying during certain periods, traffic through down town is re-routed, etc. He's catering to the one loyal Democrat demographic here, Alaska Natives. His appearance on a "reality" program shows how real he really is.
