He hopes that the officers will, by example as well as influence, endeavor to check it and that both they and the men will reflect that we can little hope of the blessing of Heaven on our army if we insult it by our impiety and folly. <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I think it is funny as profanity is as much a part of military culture and history as tattoos are and have been, it is and most likely will never lave as part of the culture, whether it is right or wrong is personal perception, to me it has never been an issue unless it is in reference to someone's race or religion. I don't believe that anyone's race or religion should be used as profane fodder for entertainment or enjoyment.
