SSgt Austin Beams 5515953 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Has anyone done a service transfer but still finished out their current commitment? I’m wanting to do Air Force to Army without ending my contract early but still not having a break in service. Currently waiting for my Commander to sign my DD 368? What documents would someone need in order to sign a contract, without an early release, to transition into another branch? 2020-02-03T19:07:23-05:00 SSgt Austin Beams 5515953 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Has anyone done a service transfer but still finished out their current commitment? That&#39;s a &quot;raise your hand&quot; question. It’ll need a recruiters signature and needs to go up for approval in order to be released. I recommend that you start speaking to a recruiter and seeing what MOSs are available Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 3 at 2020 9:22 PM 2020-02-03T21:22:02-05:00 2020-02-03T21:22:02-05:00 CPL Gary Pifer 5516453 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Stick with the Air Force... one of my big mistakes... That&#39;s just a normal ETS and a well planned switch. You&#39;ll almost definitely have a break unless you took a bunch of transition leave because the Army won&#39;t be able to process you fully without your DD214. The conditional release is for RC to AD transitions. I had to go through the process of getting a release approved and finding a slot in the Air Guard that wanted me - so the process took about 7 months total.
