I’m wanting to do Air Force to Army without ending my contract early but still not having a break in service. It’ll need a recruiters signature and needs to go up for approval in order to be released. I recommend that you start speaking to a recruiter and seeing what MOSs are availableResponse by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 3 at 2020 9:22 PM2020-02-03T21:22:02-05:002020-02-03T21:22:02-05:00CPL Gary Pifer5516453<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Stick with the Air Force... one of my big mistakes...Response by CPL Gary Pifer made Feb 3 at 2020 9:45 PM2020-02-03T21:45:51-05:002020-02-03T21:45:51-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member5516555<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Then that's not an interservice transfer and it doesn't require a conditional release. That's just a normal ETS and a well planned switch. You'll almost definitely have a break unless you took a bunch of transition leave because the Army won't be able to process you fully without your DD214.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 3 at 2020 10:24 PM2020-02-03T22:24:17-05:002020-02-03T22:24:17-05:00LTC Jason Mackay5516706<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>A DD214. I had to go through the process of getting a release approved and finding a slot in the Air Guard that wanted me - so the process took about 7 months total.Response by SMSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 4 at 2020 5:01 PM2020-02-04T17:01:06-05:002020-02-04T17:01:06-05:002020-02-03T19:07:23-05:00
