I want to do Finance on a corporate level. The only position I can think of is being a floor trader on the NYSE or CBOE... Most places would require an MBA Response by SPC(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 16 at 2016 4:28 PM 2016-11-16T16:28:33-05:00 2016-11-16T16:28:33-05:00 SPC(P) Private RallyPoint Member 2081376

You can get a series 7 without a degree, you just need a sponsor (bank)... Once you have that you can become your own broker.... but it's really hard... IT is probably the easiest career fields to get into without a degree (Im at the largest cloud computing company without one)... Good luck! No degree is required for some firms. I included a couple links for reference. My personal opinion is to aim for Edward Jones and USAA. Expect that the training and selection and placement process can take up to a year. I was phone screened by Edward Jones, and they explained that they interview and select according to the region that you want to work in. So, be sure to let your firm know where you want to end up early in the process.

http://www.thinkadvisor.com/2015/04/08/8-best-financial-companies-to-work-for-fortune?page_all=1&slreturn= [login to see]

http://www.forbes.com/sites/halahtouryalai/2014/02/20/help-wanted-young-financial-advisors-finance-degree-not-required/#40297dc5234a

8 Best Financial Companies to Work For: Fortune

These financial companies that work with advisors are included in Fortune's list of the Best Companies to Work For in 2015.

Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 16 at 2016 8:18 PM 2016-11-16T20:18:50-05:00 2016-11-16T20:18:50-05:00 PO1 Private RallyPoint Member 2082925

Certificates. Sometimes if you start small (bank) and work your way up, you'll be able to attain OJT that may omit the option of having a degree.
