I think 2 just means you need something such as a dental cleaning, etc. Response by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 11 at 2014 7:20 PM 2014-11-11T19:20:17-05:00 2014-11-11T19:20:17-05:00 CW5 Private RallyPoint Member 322619 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div><a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="149765" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/149765-14z-air-defense-artillery-ada-senior-sergeant-a-btry-5-52-ada">1SG Private RallyPoint Member</a>, it seems to be explained in this MILPER message: <a target="_blank" href="http://www.usmilitarymobile.com/ALARACT/milper-medical-codes.html">http://www.usmilitarymobile.com/ALARACT/milper-medical-codes.html</a><br /><br />IE = DEFICIENT INDIVIDUAL MEDICAL EQUIPMENT<br /><br />MRC = Medical Readiness Classification (which you likely know)<br /><br />The '2' ... I'm not sure what that means. MRC 2 is deployable, but would just need to get the small thing fixed prior to deploying probably.<br /><br />Edited (thanks to <a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="347395" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/347395-351l-counterintelligence-technician">CW5 Private RallyPoint Member</a>) IE means Deficient Individual Medical Equipment.
