What does the ice hockey scene look like around Ft. Rucker?

PCSing to Fort Rucker soon and I'm wondering what the Ice Hockey scene looks like there. Are there any leagues, pickup, stick and puck, ETC..?

It’s been eons since my last adventure in the Rucker AO, but there were nothing sporty there besides Army/Navy or Auburn/‘Bama!

You're looking at a 2 hour drive at least to either Columbus, GA or Montgomery, AL... possibly something in FL, but probably even longer than 2 hours... maybe Tallahassee or Pensacola. Not much in the Rucker area unless you like to hunt or fish. The closest "city" is Dothan which is 30-45 mins depending on where you live. Most people live in Enterprise, but I actually lived in Dothan and preferred it just because there's more stuff around then in Enterprise (but just my opinion).

There is the Southern Professional Hockey League. Teams near Rucker are the Huntsville Havoc and the Birminham Bulls.

Hockey might be a bridge too far in Rucker.
Rucker has a rugby team if you want to try something new, yet equally violent.
